Research conducted by Embrapa (Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation) shows that using drones for vegetation monitoring already delivers consistent results, especially in large areas where traditional methods are slower and more costly.
How does aerial technology help in garden care?
In studies carried out in the Brazilian Cerrado, Embrapa demonstrated that drones equipped with sensors can assess plant height, density, and coverage with about 66% accuracy compared to conventional techniques. This type of remote sensing allows continuous monitoring of plant health and soil conditions.
From the collected images, it is possible to analyze factors such as leaf coloration, moisture levels, and growth patterns, quickly identifying signs of stress or nutrient deficiencies in plants.
